BBQs * Picnic Tables * No Toilets
Lane Gardens Park is
the latest addition to the Bletchley Park housing estate, and provides a great
neighbour playground with play equipment suitable for a range of ages.
The park is separated in to two areas, one for toddlers and the other for the more adventurous. The toddler play area is fairly simple, which makes it great for younger kids to build their confidence. The play equipment has steps, an easy access ramp and a rope net, which all reach the small slide.
In the surrounds are a log and rope course, sand play table and a semi enclosed structure which the kids had fun pretending was a shop
The other play area is almost a replica of the toddler area except it is a lot taller and with harder climbing elements.
There are lots of paths and bridges in and around the park, so remember to bring along bikes or scooters. See if you can find the bells hidden in one of the bridges! The park also has a large grassed area, shaded picnic tables and a barbeque, however there are no toilets.
The kids really enjoyed playing at Lane Gardens Park, and I liked that I could stand in between both play areas and comfortably keep an eye on both kids running and biking around.
How To Get There: note at time of publishing this park is not showing on google maps. Marnbu Rd is the closest reference)
