Northbridge Piazza

Runs Sept to May | Super Screen | Kids Flicks Saturdays | Piazzarama First Sunday of the Month | Toilets Nearby

The Northbridge Piazza is a free outdoor cinema that runs all year round but comes to life with family events between September and May each year.  It has a large grassed area with lots of bean bags under a huge outdoor LED screen, which makes in a great place to watch a movie and let the kids run around while the parents relax.

For families the best times to enjoy the Northbridge Piazza are for the Northbridge Piazzarama - which is held every first Sunday of the month & Free Flicks for Kids on Saturday Nights.

The Northbridge Piazza is located on the cnr of James & Lake Streets Northbridge, and is only about a 5 minute walk from the Perth Train Station (just walk across the bridge to the Perth Cultural Centre then head down James St).

Next door is San Churro, and next door to that is Cold Rock, so there are lots of great places to eat with the family near by as well. A few more shops down is Outback Jacks also.

Northbridge Piazzarama - first Sunday of every month (between Sept & May) 12noon-4pm. The Piazzarama includes face painting, balloon artistry and roaming entertainers, movie screenings and lots more depending on the theme.  They also play Boomerang Channel in between the movie screens so the kids can watch some classics like the Road Runner, Tom & Jerry and Bugs Bunny.

Here are some images from the Super Safety Heros Piazzarama, October 6th, 2013

This very tall fairy (on stilts) was giving out fire fighter hats for FREE... ok  they weren't completely free all the kids were given a challenge, my son had to dance to Gangnam Style!
