Port Coogee Beach Marina

***WARNING! THIS IS AN UNPATROLLED BEACH & WHILE THE WATER IS SHALLOW THERE IS A LARGE SUDDEN DROP OFF SUPERVISE CHILDREN AT ARMS REACH***

* Shallow Swimming Area * Splash Pad Water Play * Showers * Toilets * BBQ's * Cafe * Disabled/Pram Beach Access * Free Parking

The beautiful Port Coogee Marina is the perfect beach paradise for little ones.This amazing marina has been built in the the new Port Coogee estate.  There's still quite a bit of construction going on around the area, so there is a bit of banging and crashing going on during the week, but you'll forget all about that once you see what a beautiful spot this is!

The water is dead calm and has a only a slight incline so is nice and shallow (but be careful for the drop off see Safety Considerations below). Splash Park is also located up on the grassed area near the BBQ -  which features a splash pad water play feature (just note there have been some maintenance issues with the water playground so don't have your heart set on it working when you get there, we do have reports it was running Sept 8th 2015)

Be careful! You must however ensure that you stay within arms reach of young children as the water does drop off a little further out where the water changes colour.

There is also ramp access to the beach and a pathway laid out to the water's edge so it's a great place to take the pram onto the beach.

There are shelters, tables & chairs, showers and toilets - so there is everything you need to spend the day at this fantastic beach.

The carpark is located in close proximity to the beach so no long walks to the beach carrying all your gear! And if it's a coffee or a light meal your after then head to the Dome just across from carpark.

Safey Considerations: This is an unpatrolled beach and is shallow but has a large drop off several metres in. Supervise children at arms reach at all times

How to Get There: Carpark located on Cnr Medina Pde & Maraboo Wharf
