Northbridge Piazza Outdoor Movies (FREE)

Pack a picnic or pick up something tasty from one of the nearby restaurants and pull up a beanbag for free movie screenings in Northbridge. From weekend children’s movies to mid-week date night, there’s plenty to entertain. Plus, watch the AFL Grand Final played live on the super screen on Saturday 30 September.

Giant Kaleidoscope Elizabeth Quay (FREE)

Step into this giant 12 metre kaleidoscope and be dazzled as colour and light reflects from all angles. Elizabeth Quay will play host to this wonderous attraction designed to surprise those who pass through.

City workers, families, tourists and those who have not visited the City in awhile are encouraged to play and interact with the array of reflective mirrors. Opening date: Friday 15 September and runs until October 13th.

Play at the Island Playground Elizabeth Quay (FREE)

Let the kids run around and play at the Island Playground at Elizabeth Quay. Catch the Ferry to South Perth and Back

Daily throughout the holidays
If you caught the train into town and bought yourselves a Family Rider ($12.40 for max up to 7 people - max 2 standard fares), you can use this ticket to also ride the ferry across to South Perth and back, as many times as you like. Either wander down from the city or jump on a Blue or Green CAT Bus that will take you to Elizabeth Quay.

Beef & Beer Festival Elizabeth Quay

The WA Beer and Beef Festival will make its return over the Queen’s Birthday long weekend from September 22 to September 25. Meat and brew-lovers from across the state can unite during the festival to praise and indulge in all things beer and beef.

More than 100 different drops from over 20 local, national and international breweries will be on offer for exclusive tastings and masterclasses.
