We are lucky to live in a wonderful city that hosts so many free family friendly events, month after month. Here are the top FREE February Perth Family Events, so you can enjoy a day or night out with the family that won't break the bank.


Daily until 12th February - Jungle Gym Karrinyup Shopping Centre

Explore the adventurous jungle and join in the FREE fun at Karrinyup this summer as our Centre Court is transformed into a Jungle Gym complete with climbing ropes and tunnels. Kids can climb the ropes like a monkey, fly through the tunnels like a toucan and immerse themselves in our indoor jungle playground

Friday 27th January – Sunday 5th February – Chinese New Year at the Quay

A range of colourful and unique daytime and evening activities, performances and cuisines run for 10 days at Elizabeth Quay. Saturday 4th - New Sienna Wood Display Village Opening Party Hilbert

To celebrate the official launch of our brand new 12 home display village in Sienna Wood Hilbert, we’re hosting a FREE Summer Street party and you’re invited!  Includes - 
- A pop up drinks bar with delicious icy slushies
- Giant Slip n Slide
- A bouncy castle for the kids

Saturday 4th - Water Play Day Heron Park Estate Harrisdale

Sunday 5th - Summerset Arts Festival Skate Park Festival Carine

Tuesday 7th & 28th - Tuesday Afternoon Play Mills Park Nature Play Space Beckenham

Sunday 12th - Newhaven Display Village Opening Mexico Fiesta

To celebrate the official launch of our new display village in Newhaven, Piara Waters, we’re hosting a VIP opening party and you’re invited! 

Our VIP Mexican Fiesta will include:

- Delicious Mexican food truck
- Smash the pinatas

Sunday 12th – Dads Day Stirling Square Guildford

Sunday 12th – Celebrate City Beach

From 3pm to 7pm, join in the celebration of the revitalised City Beach foreshore precinct with an afternoon full of fun for the whole family, including plenty of children's activities. MiLi's Family Fun Dayz at the Novotel The Vines Resort are going to be awesome fun days out for the whole family.
The February event is a twilight market to make the most of the warm summer evenings. There will be free entry plus free kids activities as well as market stalls, street food and live music. For more info go to the Facebook event

Saturday 18th Illuminate Party Gosnells

Entertain the whole family with this FREE night out. There will be something for everyone including live stage entertainment, electrifying performances, delicious food, carnival rides, kid's activities and heaps more to illuminate your night. 5-9pm. For more info go to the Facebook event.

Sunday 19th – Kidz Fest Faulkner Park Cloverdale

Sunday 19th – Music at Murdoch University

Musicians from Perth Symphony Orchestra will accompany special guest singers to perform a feast of musical theatre, film classics and rock hits at Bush Court at Murdoch University. Saturday 25th – Fiesta Concert Sir James Mitchell Park South Perth

Australian singer-songwriter Emma Louise will be performing a free concert supported by singer-songwriter Thelma Plum. There will also be a family activity area and a gourmet food village. Sunday 26th – Salty Fest Coogee Maritime Dive Trail Launch

Bring the family and celebrate the official opening of the underwater dive and land-based trail! On offer from 10am to 2pm will be diving and snorkelling the trail, stilt walkers, live music, face painting, monsterball soccer and more. The launch will be held at the Cnr Socrates and Napoleon Parades, North Coogee. For more info visit here.

Free Outdoor Cinema Events
