Australia Day is day that many Perth & WA families like to get out to enjoy and celebrate all things Australian, with events and things to do that include, brekkies, beaches, swimming, rides, activities and more! There are plenty of exciting family friendly events and activities this Australia Day Thursday 26th January, 2023 and leading up to the day to enjoy around Perth and WA.


City of Perth Australia Day Festival

This Australia Day the City of Perth are taking the time to Reflect, Respect and Celebrate the diverse and unique country we call home by staging events, food markets, stalls, concerts and more, plus the Skyworks at 8pm with entertainment between 3pm & 7.30pm across Langley Park and Supreme Court Gardens. Australia Day Coogee Beach Festival

Enjoy a morning out at Coogee Beach with live performances by Aboriginal Dance Group Binjareb Middars , New Zealand Children’s Community Cultural Group, Down Under Band and performer ‘Bloom plus loads of free enterainment and activities with live entertainment, demonstrations, mermaids and sandcastle building on the beach and food trucks with a range of foods available for purchase. 8am – 12noon. Australia Day Celebrations Perry Lakes

Head to Perry Lakes Reserve for some family friendly fun this Australia Day. 10am – 1pm. Enjoy free kids activiites, live music, free sausage sizzle, roving entertaimnet and more. Find more information at

Australia Day Rockingham

Watch performances by Grisella and Luke, The Goodlemens, PROOF and  What You Need (INXS Tribute Band).  There will also be free children’s ctivities, roaming performers, sensory friendly chill out zone and food vendors. Australia Day Big Breakfast Gosnells

Enjoy a delicious hot brekky on sale by the Rotary of Gosnells. Enjoy the Blinky Bill LIve Stage Show, mini golf, water play, crafts and lot of other free entertainment and activities for all ages at Centennial Pioneer Park 8-11am.

Australia Day in Armadale

Activities for all ages such as carnival rides, a free family activity area, a variety of food stalls to tempt your tastebuds and a full program of live music showcasing some of our incredible local talent, including fireworks at 8.30pm.
