Bina Parkland Balga is located in the bushland area behind the Leisurepark Balga and is the first completed stage in the big community hub project on the Princess Wallington Reserve that includes a skate facility, bike pump track and sporting facilities. While the playground is open now the whole project is expected to be completed mid 2021.
The natural bush land has been well maintained throughout the playground provides a canopy of natural shade and gives the playground a nice natural feel.
The main play structure is constructed mostly of ropes with several elevated "nests" and a rope bridge that leads to a small slide.
The playground also features a double cable flying fox that includes and all abilities seat.
There's also a traditional swing set with a toddler swing and a basket swing too.
Throughout the playground are several balancing logs (some of which second as seating) and rocks as well was pathways to ride scooter or small bikes.
Toilets have been installed at the park but are not currently open as they are part of the next stages. BBQ's are also part of the next stages (Stage 2 under construction, pictured below) however there is a water fountain within the playground and there is as shopping complex that includes a 7-11 over the road.
Bina Parkland Balga is a beautiful little park with lots of natural shade. It will be a lot bigger once the next stage are completed and will connect the park land to the Princess Wallington playground and Balga Dog Park on the other side also.
