The 2012 V8 Supercar Championship drivers signing in Perth

It’s a V8 Supercars Super Thursday on 2 May, with plenty of action in the Perth CBD leading up to the Chill Perth 360 – the Perth round of the V8 Supercar Championship. With a drivers’ signing at Forrest Place and movie screenings of Disney Pixar animations Cars and Cars 2 at the Northbridge Piazza you’ll be sure to get a dose of V8 Supercars fever wherever you are!

Forrest Place will be full of noise, colour and excitement when it hosts all the drivers of the V8 Supercars Championship – and select Dunlop Development Series drivers - including Casey Stoner – for the Chill Perth 360 Drivers’ Signing.

This is the only opportunity to see all 28 of the Championship drivers together before the Chill Perth 360 takes off at Barbagallo Raceway in Wanneroo on 3 May. Fans can get autographs from drivers, pose for photos and also be in the running to win some great prizes.

Past V8 Supercar champions Craig Lowndes, Jamie Whincup, Mark Winterbottom and WA’s own Garth Tander will be there, along with the rest of the V8 Supercar drivers line up.

Please note crowds are expected so arrive early to secure your position in the line!

To celebrate the Disney Pixar Cars Truck Tour being a part of the Family Zone at the Chill Perth 360 there will be a back-to-back screening of the Disney Pixar animations Cars and Cars 2 at the Northbridge Piazza from 4pm onwards. The movie is free to attend.

Head over from the drivers’ signing or bring the kids down after school and ride along with Lightning McQueen (voiced by Owen Wilson) on his journey to the World Grand Prix! The animation is a great prequel to the three days of heart-pumping action to follow over the weekend.

The Chill Perth 360 will run from 3 to 5 May 2013 at Barbagallo Raceway, with the first WA appearance by the Disney Pixar Cars Truck Tour and family ticketing options available from Ticketek at
