Crowne Plaza Perth provides comfortable and affordable family friendly accommodation right by the Swan River and is walking distance to Elizabeth Quay. The staff are all very friendly and go out of their way to ensure that you are enjoying your stay. At the hotel restaurant, Gusti, the most delicious food is served up and it's definitely kid approved. It’s a wonderful option for a family Perth city staycation!
The hotel is located on Terrace Road with rooms to accommodate families (up to four people) with twin guest rooms. A large number of rooms have river views, and some have balconies too, so that you can make the most of the location. All rooms are well appointed with tv, mini fridge, complimentary WiFi and breakfast.
Across from the hotel is Langley Park which is perfect for a quiet picnic, running around with the kids or kicking a footy. The hotel also offers complimentary bike hire for guests to help you get the most of the outdoors and being so close to the river. It is a relaxing and enjoyable ride for all to Elizabeth Quay to see the Bell Tower, ride the carousel or get an ice cream. Although you may be having too much fun to stop, there are a few benches along the cycle / jogging track where you can stop and take in the beauty of the Swan River.
Crowne Plaza Perth is the perfect place to stay if you are a visitor to Perth and want to explore the city, but want to still feel like you are in a relaxing environment where you can get outdoors and experience wonderful attractions. The Crowne Plaza Hotel offer great Staycation packages which include accommodation, free parking, WiFi and breakfast at the hotel's Gusti Restaurant! The kids will absolutely love it, and so will Mum and Dad.
The restaurant at Crowne Plaza Perth, Gusti Restaurant and Bar, is family friendly with kids meals on the menu and high chairs available. The staff made friends with the kids right away with their free activity packs, which included a bag to be decorated, an activity book, stickers and crayons. They definitely were a hit and kept the kids sitting quietly and waiting for their meals. The whole family were very impressed with the menu options as well as how delicious the food was! We would go back to the restaurant for a meal any day of the week.
Kids will of course love splashing about in the infinity pool, and the parents will love relaxing on the pool deck, with river views and sun lounges. The gym is located on the same level as the pool also.
As an extra service, the hotel is happy to recommend and help you book some fun activities to enjoy during your stay. One activity is a river cruise with The Little Ferry Co, starting in Elizabeth Quay, cruising leisurely down the river, past Crowne Plaza, Optus Stadium and Matagarup Bridge, then into Claisebrook Cove, where you can get out and stretch your legs, grab a coffee and a snack from one of the many cute little cafes along the canal.
When you are ready, jump back on board and make your way back down to Elizabeth Quay. There are so many fantastic photo opportunities and it's a great way to take in the Perth skyline. The ferries are solar electric operated which means there are no diesel fumes and they are whisper quiet.
If you are looking for an affordable family friendly place to stay in the city, that has easy access to the river and the city's main attractions, provides wonderful service and extra activity opportunities, then the Crowne Plaza Perth is perfect.
