Kadidjiny "Dr Seuss" Park Melville

Kadidjini Park also know as "Dr Seuss" Park in Melville just south of Perth, is a must visit for any little Dr Seuss fan.

As you can see from the picture above the classic red, white and blue Dr Seuss exercise stations are spread out across a massive grassed area. There are winding walkways so the area is great for riding scooters and bikes. Bring a netball or basketball along kids will love shooting some Dr Seuss hoops!

The playground area is separate and found on the northern side of the park. The playground area and is fully fenced and is pretty big but not too large that you can't keep track of the kids!

Your kids will love this super cool playground, with winding paths and rolling blue and grassy "bumps" throughout the park. There is also a huge horizontal space net they will love climbing on. Play features include slides, birds nest swing, climbing nets, sand play and lots of other little play equipment scattered across the park.

With several free gas barbeques, a few tables with bench seats and toilets close by to the BBQ's, Kadidjiny Park in Melville, makes a great place for a kids party of family gathering, but man-made shade is limited, so its not recommended if rain is forecast.

What to Bring: Scooters; small bikes; soccer or football to kick on the grass; netball or basketball to shoot in the hoops; picnic rug; packed lunch or bbq lunch; sand pit toys
