FRINGE Sunday Funday is a giant, free, community event taking over William Street, Northbridge. With three performance spaces will showcase 28 shows, offering a sample of the FRINGE WORLD 2023?program and giving?a free?taste-tester of?the comedy, circus, dance and cabaret shows on offer during the?month-long?Festival.??New things to entertain you at the Funday include more roving performers, stilt walkers, bubbleology, body art painting and the Kleenheat Silent Disco.

Abra Da Cameron (Various Locations)

Cameron the Magician is excited to present “Alaza-Cam!”. A brand new show from the magician that brought you the award-winning (Weekly Children’s Event Award 2021) “Abra Da-Cameron!”. This isn’t just a show for the kids though, as Cameron’s hilarious approach to magic is sure to be a hit, no matter your age!

With a heavy focus on audience participation, you won’t just be watching tricks, they’ll be happening to you! It’s the perfect opportunity for those little future magicians to get a taste of being on stage and creating magical moments.

The maddest of mad scientists, Magnus Danger Magnus, returns for FRINGE WORLD 2023 with a brand new, all ages electromagnetic extravaganza in KABOOM! He’s exploded his way across the country, lighting fires on stage and setting kids’ curiosity ablaze; now he’s built a fascinating new set of gizmos and gadgets guaranteed to electrify in this incredible conglomeration of explosions, experiments, hilarity and audience participation!

Freedom Fairies Face Painting Northbridge

Step inside our fairy garden where magic and wonder grow. Where all manner of wishes we weave and bestow. Face painting, Henna, Glitter and Hair braiding there is nothing we can’t do, for the obliging prince or fair maiden. But be warned all great magic comes at a price, a small fee of 5 pieces of treasure and the gift of being nice. No ticket required every human, mermaid and unicorn are welcome, you are never to old for some fairy magic!

An Utterly Rubbish Adventure Northbridge

There’s a world inside your bin! From the mind of comedian and maker James Hancox comes a new wild and wonderfully silly tale of adventure, invention and some very odd characters. Pirates! Applecross & Fremantle

Ahoy me hearties be ye ready for another interactive adventure? The tide has turned and Pirates!! are again seeking treasure from all over Perth. Tie on a bandanna and draw your imaginary sword. We’ve got maps to find and monsters to foil. Yaharrr! Treasure awaits me hearties from the Freo Shipwrecks Museum to the Pleasure Gardens of Perth so come aboard and join the loveable pirates for another high energy fully participatory adventure.
