FRINGE WORLD Festival is Western Australia's most popular festival and the third largest Fringe in the world. The 2022 Festival will run from 14th January to 13th February 2022 and features shows and entertainment at over 130 venues all over Perth We have rounded up our top picks of family friendly Fringe World shows and experiences this year.

*FREE* Fringe World Mermaids: The Splash Zone Northbridge

Perth's favourite Fringe World Mermaids are back. Catch a kiss, hear a tale, or have a splashy fun afternoon when the weather is too warm. Perfect for little dreamers and the young at heart. Suitable for all ages.

*FREE* Family Fun Sundays South Perth

Kick back and soak up the atmosphere at the South Perth foreshore on Friday evenings and Saturdays during Southside Summer, between 21 January - 5 February 2022.  Wander down to Mindeerup while you explore South Perth on Saturdays and enjoy giant games and pop-up children’s activities.

Cameron the Magician is excited to present "Alaza-Cam!". A brand new show from the magician that brought you the award-winning (Weekly Children's Event Award 2021) "Abra Da-Cameron!". This isn't just a show for the kids though, as Cameron's hilarious approach to magic is sure to be a hit, no matter your age!

With a heavy focus on audience participation, you won't just be watching tricks, they'll be happening to you! It's the perfect opportunity for those little future magicians to get a taste of being on stage and creating magical moments.

Freedom Fairies at Fringe Northbridge

Step inside our fairy garden where magic and wonder grow. Where all manner of wishes we weave and bestow. Face painting, Henna, Glitter and Hair braiding there is nothing we can't do for the obliging Prince, Princess or Princette. But be warned all great magic comes at a price, a small fee of treasure and the gift of being nice.

Brat Kids Carnival

A high-energy super fun afternoon show for all ages brought to you by the finest team of circus artists and mischief makers behind international touring sensation Briefs.

An Utterly Rubbish Adventure Northbridge

There’s a world inside your bin! From the mind of comedian and maker James Hancox comes a new wild and wonderfully silly tale of adventure, invention and some very odd characters. Circus The Show Northbridge

Roll Up! Roll Up! Prepare to enter a world of whimsy, wonder & amazement where your imagination will soar like never before, in this completely re-imagined family circus spectacular! Flipping into Fringe World for the very first time, this star-studded show features world-class illusions, tumbling acrobats, highly skilled jugglers, breath-taking aerialists, an endearing clown with his GIGANTIC 6ft balloon, and enough side-splitting comedy to send any grown man running for the toilet!

Pirates! Northbridge, Applecross, Fremantle & Perth

Ahoy me hearties be ye ready for another interactive adventure? The tide has turned and Pirates!! are again seeking treasure from all over Perth. Tie on a bandanna and draw your imaginary sword. We've got maps to find and monsters to foil. Yaharrr! Treasure awaits me hearties from the Freo Shipwrecks Museum to the Pleasure Gardens of Perth so come aboard and join the loveable pirates for another high energy fully participatory adventure. Ages 4-12.
