Harbourne Ruislip Playground Wembley is a parents with toddlers meet up heaven. It may only be a small suburban play space, but it's packed with play features for babies and toddlers and is fully fenced too.
The main section of the playground features a low level wooden play structures with slide, fireman's pole and rock climbing wall. Shade sail poles are in place so shade sails can be erected over this area in summer.
The space has some really cool nature based play features with rock climbing pegs placed on a big tree stump, logs and rocks scattered around the play structure and water play. There is a basket swing and toddler swing too.
Bring the spare clothes along because there is a messy kitchen too.
Your little ones will also love the toys scattered throught the playground. There are ride on toys and sand toys to use in the sand pit and the messy kitchen. Best of all it's fully fenced and there's a small grassed area where you can lay out a rug and relax with friends. A picnic table and seating are also available..
There are no toilets or BBQs, however a BP service station is located on the next main street down (Cambridge Street) if you need an urgent visit to the toilet or you want to grab a coffee or some refreshments to enjoy at the park. Note: parking is on the verge and in the street between 8 - 5pm (for 2 hours) only, and parking space is limited. You may need to park futher away and walk to this playground.
If you are looking for somewhere that's fully fenced and has toddler focussed play, Harbourne Ruislip Playground Wembley is perfect and is a great space to meet with friends for that much needed catch up.
