July School Holidays Survival Guide

The July School Holidays Perth are probably the most challenging for parents, with the weather not always so nice outside, it's hard to come up with ideas for things to do when it's raining outside and well we are not quite back to normal, with restrictions only recently having been lifted, there are not as many events as there usually are in the holidays however here are some ideas to get out of the house and enjoy some school holiday fun. The July School Holidays run from 4th - 19th July 2020.

Maddaganza

Maddington Recreation Ground will be transformed into a magical wonderland these July school holidays from Saturday 4 July - Wednesday 8 July.

Feel the excitement and experience the thrills of unlimited carnival rides, roving entertainment, meet and greets with special characters, food trucks and interactive activities, held under one of WA’s largest big tops, right here in the City of Gosnells. There will be plenty to see and do with a variety of rides suitable for all ages. Visit Fremantle Adventure Trail

This school holidays from 6th - 19th July you can join in a free Lego themed adventure trail that takes you through the sites of the historic West end of Fremantle. Start by Simply collect your Adventure Trail map from the Fremantle Visitor Centre and head to the participating retail stores to collect the pieces and build your own toy. There are six different toys available to build - get in quick while stocks last. Critters Conservation Centre Mandurah Forum

Critters Up Close is excited to be opening again to the public just in time for the school holidays. You can enter daily through the holidays (during shopping centre open hours) by donation and wander their incredible display of critters and information about the local environment and conversation as well as partake in regular talks and demonstrations to be held throughout the day.

School Holiday Programs


The Fishing School Perth

The Fishing School is back again for the 2020 July Winter School Holidays!  Beginner classes will be held at Point Walter & Mindarie Marina. The cost is $35 per child and all classes run from 9am to 12pm, various days between 6th - 17th July, 2020. Suitable for children aged 6+ years. Children 6-8 years must be supervised by an adult at all times. This school holidays there are also 2 clinics (one at Mindarie and one at Point Walter) for children aged 10 and older.
