Playground | Nature Based Play | Picnic Shelter | BBQ | Water Fountain | Toilets (if clubrooms open only) | No Dogs
MacDonald Reserve Playground Padbury is a beautiful naturally shady park that features nature based play and is the perfect place to play with little ones and to meet with friends.
The playground features a beautiful nature based play section with a wooden fort, balancing logs and rocks that leads down a gentle incline to the traditional playground.
Timbers from the original Ocean Reef Boat Harbour have been re-used within the playground
At the bottom of the incline is a small playground, suitable for younger children with sand play, noughts and crosses game and a set of swings.
Around the playground are limestone blocks with insects painted on them. Challenge the kids to see how many insects they can find.
This playground was upgraded in late 2017 and we understand there is still a bike skills track to be installed here at some stage in 2018. Located under beautiful natural shade, this is a lovely spot to spend a few hours with a BBQ and picnic table close to the playground. Toilets are located at the club rooms on the other side of the oval and may be open during sporting events. Please also note that dogs are not permitted at MacDonald Reserve Padbury.
MacDonald Reserve Playground is shady all day long so it's a lovely spot to catch up with friends or take younger kids for a play for a few hours anytime of the day.
