The City at New Years Eve Northbridge

Enjoy street entertainment including daring circus performers, children's workshops, vibrant installations, roving acts, the Christmas Lights trail and more from 6pm. Get into the city a little earlier and grab some dinner from the Twilight Hawkers Market from 4.30pm in Forrest Place. Don't miss the early countdown and fireworks at 9pm that can be viewed from the Perth Cultural Centre, Yagan Square, James Street (between Lake and William St) and William Street (between Francis and Roe St). Find more information at

Rottnest Island (BOOKED OUT - AT CAPACITY)

From 3pm kids can join in sandcastle building, a circus workshop and join in some beach games including soccer and cricket. Families can get into New Years Eve party mode at the Silent Disco and grab a selfie to mark the occasion in the Photo Booth. Catch the fireworks display at 9pm over Thomsons Bay, then ride the late evening ferry back to the mainland. Find more information at

Mount Hawthorn New Years Eve (CANCELLED)

This is a free community event by the Floreat Athena Soccer Club. Expect a night of family fun to ring in the New Year with music and entertainment, and plenty of activities to keep the kids occupied.

Pack a picnic and your picnic blanket and get down early to secure your spot on the pitch, then settle in for a night of family fun. Food and drinks are available to purchase on the night. New Years Eve Celebration Rockingham

Celebrate New Years Eve on the Rockingham Foreshore with food trucks, rides and games, from 5pm and two fireworks performances at 9pm and midnight.
