Optus Stadium Sensory Playground is a fully fenced playground that overlooks the Swan River and is found at the front of Australia's Largest Pub The Camfield alongside Optus Stadium.
Parking near the playground is only available on non game/event days. To access the playground on these days you will need to catch public transport or park at Crown Burswood or East Perth then walk or ride around the Swan River to access it - which kind of turns your playground visit into a bit of adventure. There are plenty of bike racks alongside the playground.
The playground features lots of play features for all ages. For the big kids there is a dual cable flying fox and large climbing net.
The basketball court is also a hit with the bigger kids with some fun games painted on the ground too. Two in ground trampolines and an all inclusive round about are found alongside the basketball court which are fun for big and little kids alike.
Little ones will love the sand play features located under the shade.
And climbing up the hill to the top of the slide and crawling through the tunnel that goes through the hill.
BBQs and a picnic shelter are located with in the fenced playground area. The Camfield is located right near the playground where you can enjoy a meal, a coffee and cake or grab a coffee to enjoy at the playground. Toilets are found at The Camfield and at the bottom of Optus Stadium. You may also want to check out Chevron Parkland with six different play areas just a short walk from the Optus Stadium Sensory Playground.
