Fully Fenced * Nature based Play * Sensory Play * Water Play Feature * Water Fountain * Toilets at Clubrooms (may be open during events) * Picnic Tables
Sam's Playground was opened in August 2016 at the beautiful Warradale Park Landsdale in honour of toddler Sam Trott and as a credit to the community that rallied together to help find the missing toddler in 2014. The playground is fully fenced with a double gate and was developed in close consultation with the Trott family. It features lots of nature and sensory based play.
This large playground is a mix of traditional play and nature and sensory play, making it an absolute play haven for youngsters and a unique play experience for special needs families. Play features have been located alongside natural shading, so there are no shade sails over the park.
Imagination is a must here. Kids will love driving or riding aboard the big red bus, with logs for all the passengers to sit on while they enjoy the ride.
Perfect for keeping the kids cool on a warm day this water play features will no doubt be one of the most popular features of the playground.
There are two sets of slides one double slide (great for sibling races or racing friends) and a single slide both with rock climb access for little adventurers.
The playground area also features a few uncovered picnic tables, however there are no BBQs or toilets (toilets are located at the clubrooms and may only be open during events).
There is so much to enjoy at Sam's Playground in Warradale Park, it's a great place to meet with friends who have young children also. Don't forget this is just one of the many play spaces at the huge Warradale Park. You can find out more about what Warradale Park Landsdale has to offer in our review here.
