Shopping Centre activities are a great idea for the school holidays, and a fun free thing to do with kids in Perth. Many shopping centres in Perth and the surrounds offer free activities and events throughout the school holidays. Check out the list below to find out what's happening at your local shopping centre. Make sure you check if bookings are required to avoid disappointment!

Magic School with Adam & Selina at Hawaiian's Forrestfield
7th - 10th October

♠️ This October school holidays, come and learn some of MAGIC'S BIGGEST SECRETS so you can AMAZE anyone, anywhere, anytime! ♠️

Hawaiian’s Forrestfield welcomes the incredible Perth Magicians Adam & Selina! As seen on Australia’s Got Talent and Telethon, Adam & Selina are an award-winning brother & sister illusionists, who over the past 20 years have been seen by over 30 million people across the globe. Prepare to be transported into Adam & Selina's extraordinary world of magic and illusion, where anything is possible! Witness as they manipulate and redefine the laws of time and space to achieve feats of the seemingly impossible!

Following the shows, join this incredible duo at MAGIC SCHOOL, as they teach you how to master a variety of magic tricks from incredible feats of illusion to trickery with ordinary objects. PLUS on the day, each child will also receive a special magic pack with everything they'll need to start their new hobby! Magic shows are suitable for all ages. School of Magic workshops are suitable for 7 and above, and spaces are strictly limited to 30 children per workshop so please register to ensure you don’t miss out!

3 on 3 School Holiday Basketball Tournament at Hawaiian's Forrestfield
2nd October

Join us at Hawaiian’s Forrestfield for the number one urban team sport, 3x3 Basketball! Hosted by the Kalamunda & Districts Basketball Association and the Kalamunda Eastern Suns, have fun in this FREE 3x3 tournament this School holidays on Wednesday, 2 October 2019. Whether you want to hone your skills or have fun, register your team by Monday 30 September, 5 pm, to participate and be crowned the best in Forrestfield!

Details 

Event time 10:00am – 5:00pm
The tournament will run the following age groups

• Under 13 Boys and Girls Competition
• Under 16 Boys & Girls Competition
• Inclusion Mixed Competition

Don't Just Live Flourish Festival at Mandurah Forum
From September 29th (through to Nov)

As the heart of the south, Mandurah Forum always has something for everyone, but this spring, the shopping centre is a hive of activity guaranteed to keep the whole family entertained. As part of the centre’s Don’t Just Live, Flourish Festival, there’s plenty happening throughout October inside and, of course, outside under the warm sun in the alfresco dining precinct.

Kids will love the Jurassic World craft activities, allowing them to explore their creativity with a prehistoric twist. If they’re keen to explore modern day dinosaurs, Mandurah Forum’s Critters Conservation Centre will have plenty of sessions running to feed their appetites for learning. Parents won’t be forgotten, with fun, interactive ways to win dining and fashion vouchers throughout the centre! If music is more your scene, pop into Mandurah Forum for RnB Fridays. The centre will be playing your favourite beats all day long, with evening hip hop dance performances and neon mini golf, ping pong and more taking over the alfresco dining precinct every Friday night.
