The new Subiaco Theatre Gardens Playground is centrally located on Bagot St, close to lots of shops and cafes, so its a beautiful place for a play and you are sure to find somewhere nice to eat nearby, or bring a picnic along as there is lots of grass and shade.
We recommend the playground for kids under 6, there is a wooden play structure, a birds nest swing, a little wooden puppet theatre (staying in theme with the gardens) and a great little water based play area.
The playground has excellent natural shade, and lots of nature based play with logs to balance on and rocks to climb
Make sure you take the spare clothes along the water play feature is popular. The water runs of this limestone table and forms a litle creek. There are little dams you can open and close to build the water up and let it all go at once.
This little wide slide was very popular too with log step and rock climbing access
The Subiaco Theatre Gardens is a great place to spend the day away and meet with friends and family. There is plenty of shade, picnic tables, toilets and free bbq's.
