The Village West Playground is a large and shady playground located in the Whiteman Park Village area, approximately 200m from the Whiteman Park Visitors Centre and close to many of Whiteman Park's attractions.
The playground is well shaded with both natural shade and shade sails and has lovely nature rich surrounds, with lots of trees and birdlife in the park.
A fence goes all the way around the playground with an opening at the entrance. There are several play areas within the playground and there is pretty much every play feature you can think of.
With ramps, slides, ropes obstacles, swings (including double toddler swings), monkey bars, climbing walls, talk tubes and more, there is something to keep all ages entertained.
The Village West Playground Whiteman Park is a good spot to base yourself for the day while exploring Whiteman Park and is a must visit while you are in the park. If you want to book a shelter D1, D2, E1, E2 and K are near the playground as well as the Pavilion just across the lawn.
